Note:These pages make extensive use of the latest XHTML and CSS Standards. They ought to look great in any standards-compliant modern browser. Unfortunately, they will probably look horrible in older browsers, like Netscape 4.x and IE 4.x. Moreover, many posts use MathML, which is, currently only supported in Mozilla. My best suggestion (and you will thank me when surfing an ever-increasing number of sites on the web which have been crafted to use the new standards) is to upgrade to the latest version of your browser. If that's not possible, consider moving to the Standards-compliant and open-source Mozilla browser.

The Sixth International Conference on Applied Category Theory will take place at the University of Maryland from 31 July to 4 August 2023, preceded by the Adjoint School 2023 from 24 to 28 July. This conference follows previous events at Strathclyde (UK), Cambridge (UK), Cambridge (MA), Oxford (UK), and Leiden (NL).

Applied category theory is essential to a growing community of researchers who use category-theoretic tools to study computer science, logic, engineering, physics, biology, chemistry, social science, systems, linguistics, and other subjects. The background and experience of our members are as varied as the systems being studied. The goal of the Applied Category Theory conference series is to bring researchers together, strengthen the applied category theory community, disseminate the latest results, and facilitate further development of the field.
