Inbound Citations

Jacques Distler has asked us for a list of citations to entries on the nn-category Café and the nnLab.

Since I find it hard to remember them myself, and since it might be of interest in general to keep track of these, I thought I’d create an entry at which to collect them. This is now here:

So far this contains just a handful of citations that I could think of off the top of my head. If you can think of more, please add them.

I added Tom and Simon’s Metric Spaces paper. What if a paper merely acknowledges Café help?

Let’s add acknowledgements, too, marked as such. It is of interest, too, in this context, I suppose.

Google can help you chase down all references on the web. The seach term “link:ncatlab.org -site:ncatlab.org” shows you all links to ncatlab.org which are not self-links. The equivalent URL is URL http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=link%3Ancatlab.org+-site%3Ancatlab.org.

How should we refer to nLab and nCat Café in BibTex format? If someone came up with a nice format (template or example) within a suitable publication type, then it would be likely to become more or less standard and would encourage references. I have tried various ones but never with really satisfactory results.

Use utphys.bst. Then you can cite

That is fine for the URLs etc but (sorry for being dim on this) it gives Physics order i.e. corresponding to first appearence in the document rather than alphabetic order which is more usual in Maths. Is there some means of `tweeking’ this?
