Note:These pages make extensive use of the latest XHTML and CSS Standards. They ought to look great in any standards-compliant modern browser. Unfortunately, they will probably look horrible in older browsers, like Netscape 4.x and IE 4.x. Moreover, many posts use MathML, which is, currently only supported in Mozilla. My best suggestion (and you will thank me when surfing an ever-increasing number of sites on the web which have been crafted to use the new standards) is to upgrade to the latest version of your browser. If that's not possible, consider moving to the Standards-compliant and open-source Mozilla browser.

War Blogs

In case the incessantly repetitious coverage of CNN/FoxNews/… isn’t enough for you, check out the indefatigable Sean-Paul Kelley, who’s providing seemingly round-the-clock news aggregation about the war. Or, for a different perspective, try the enigmatic Raed.

It comes as no surprise, but things are getting ugly.

“Things are getting ugly”.

After two years and almost 2,000 American lives I’d have to say this whole thing was a mistake.

Re: War Blogs

Our involvement in Iraq has been permitted by the American people because of the loss of free speech.

Many Americans are not aware that it is against the law to depict pictures of the flag draped coffins returning from Iraq. If this freedom of speech were not taken away from the media, The American people would be far less likely to support our troops being killed. A picture is worth a thousand words. Right now the Americans being killed are only numbers. It is the pictures that really tell the true story.

I find it interesting how the war in Iraq is suppose to be about freeing the Iraqi people. I think we’d be better off fighting to free the American people.
