While looking about the web for something on Eckmann-Hilton duality, I stumbled across Beno Eckmann’s Mathematical Miniatures, a collection of 13 short essays I hadn’t noticed before.

All modern browsers do. I think the problem here is rather that our blog software tries to be helpful and interprets hyperlinks without the http://-prefix as intended relative to http://golem.ph.utexas.edu/ instead of relative to the root of the web.

I don’t think that’s right! All modern browsers will add the “http://” if you omit it when manually typing a URL into the address field at the top of the browser, but if you omit “http://” from the href parameter of an HTML link, all browsers I know of will interpret whatever the href contains relative to the page containing the link.

What is your interest in Eckmann-Hilton duality? which JHCW claimed was not a `real’ duality.

BTW, there arrived a fascinating looking new Astérisque volume in the library here, containing the first two chapters of this,
making curious about to this application.
