My favorite site is an old but they had a recent update.

SNU Groups provided an update about the science of corrosion. They went on a slight tangent about pumps and air conditioning and are suppose to provide data on the cost to society for repair and replacing metal for heat exchangers for air conditioning repair and the newest developments in HVAC. A section will be added about corrosion developments in the automobile industry also. But this page appears to be devoted to linking fundamental science to changes in lifestyle and things used in homes such as AC.

For some reason I just like the older websites. All of the newer SNU websites for each laboratory are just as interesting and I wish they would publish a directory.

I really cannot say if their are 50 best blogs out there. It depends on the reader. I like the lively amateur scientist blogs such as lasvegasac.wordpress.com. I imagine if an air conditioning/mechanical engineer can see the connection between science and everyday life, every scientist should have their own lively blog and make science more interesting to everyone.

Good to know because I’m searching for that simple physics blog that will explain things in a way I can digest easily.
