@the actual original meaning
which was?? German is far from a language
`the muse sang at my cradle”
Ah, thank you! I’ll have to run this past my wife, who speaks German fluently, and see if she knows or figures this out.
“Tor” is “gate”, not “door”, but, close enough …
Thanks! It’s a bit odd doing such translations when there are native German speakers about. I guess I could defend myself by saying that in this context, the correct idiomatic translation is door, but frankly I was just wrong.

Sorry, I am reading this only now.
Looking for a left adjoint to your remote control gate?
Try this company: Garagenschwingtore, Schwingtore, Garagensektionaltore, Sektionaltore, Seitensektionaltore, Kipptore, Funktore, elektrische Tore.
Unfortunately they don’t have Seitengaragensektionalfunktore.
But they also offer the Torfunk to control your Funktor.
customer: I need a Funktor on my domain.
Wedding Torbau: Do you now the exact Funktor that you need?
C: It is to be adjoined to the left of another Funktor that I already have.
WT: Oh, you already have one?
C: Yes, I already have a long sequence Funktore.
WT: If you buy an adjoint triple Funktore and get one for free.
C: Hm, but I already have an essentially full domain.
WT: Ah, so will this be your final Funktor?
C: Yes, this should be the terminal Funktor on my domain. There is a limit to it.
WT: Then I recommend a very flat Funktor.
C: That might be natural.
WT: Of course if you took a 2-Funktor, then there would be the option of modifications.
C: Hm, a 2-Funktor would probably be too weak for my needs.
Marvelous!
I want to order one for my office door!
Re: Vorsicht! Funktor!
Hehe, very nice! An additional amusement for me was that I needed quite some time to get at the actual original meaning - I had thought German was my mother tongue, not category theory, perhaps I was wrong (I wonder about Chomskian views on this) :-)
