Note:These pages make extensive use of the latest XHTML and CSS Standards. They ought to look great in any standards-compliant modern browser. Unfortunately, they will probably look horrible in older browsers, like Netscape 4.x and IE 4.x. Moreover, many posts use MathML, which is, currently only supported in Mozilla. My best suggestion (and you will thank me when surfing an ever-increasing number of sites on the web which have been crafted to use the new standards) is to upgrade to the latest version of your browser. If that's not possible, consider moving to the Standards-compliant and open-source Mozilla browser.

As is well known trees get nourished by eating motorcycles. The loops are essential for such process. See here.

Is that a two-mass-hard box, or a three-mass triangle?

It seems that photo has been under the knife of Adobe Photoshop or similar. Can you spot the blurred parts of the photo, just above the loop?

Re: So Much For the Concept of “Tree Graph”

Nope.

It’s completely undoctored. All I did was down-sample it from the original 3264×2448 to 800×600. I didn’t even crop it, or adjust the brightness/contrast.

If you see any artifacts, blame the JPEG compression.

Inspired by this photo I’ve found this site on wikipedia with examples of even much higher loop graphs :)
